The Greenworks GD40CS18 is a highly efficient domestic chainsaw, featuring a robust DigiPro brushless motor, a 40cm guide bar, and a fast chain speed of 20m/s. It’s perfect for pruning branches, cutting logs, and tackling smaller trees with ease.

With its instant start switch, the chainsaw ensures quick and easy operation, and its low noise levels make it an excellent choice for residential areas, causing minimal disruption to neighbours. The brushless motor provides up to 30% more power, and the rapid chain speed ensures quick, clean cuts. For safety, the chain stops instantly in case of recoil from kickback, and a two-button start-up adds extra protection.

The automatic oiling system keeps the blade lubricated continuously, so you won’t need to stop and apply oil. A translucent window lets you easily check the oil levels in the 180ml tank.

The GD40CS18 is powered by Greenworks’ modular 40-volt lithium-ion battery system, allowing you to use the same battery across multiple tools. A 2Ah battery delivers up to 25 minutes of run time, while a 4Ah battery provides up to 50 minutes. Greenworks batteries ensure fade-free power with no memory loss, and the LED ‘fuel’ indicator keeps you updated on the remaining battery charge.
